Integrated spacers
When using SCADA® spacers on edges while laying large flagstones an invisible interlocking system is formed. The spacers are placed offset according to format of the 40-mm grid or 50-mm grid. Horizontal and vertical load bearing is transferred optimally from one flagstone to the other, by the completely filled joints and the interlocking dovetailing system, and is so amply distributed and diverted throughout the entire surface.
SCADA®-form matrix gives an overview of the huge number of available formats with suitable dovetailing grids. Also large sizes such as the brand TOPSTONE® with massive natural stone facing can be fitted with dovetailing. This is the main advantage of multi-layered stones in comparison to single natural stone. Possible with a combination of SCADA® and TOPSTONE® is a secure slide guard system for the entire surface.
Thus, for example, you can implement stratifications with TOPSTONE® for surface arrangements and many other functional ideas. In short: An important safety detail, that natural stone cannot perform.
Tip: Spacers may not directly touch the neighbouring flagstones!
